What you buy
The registration of a domain name for the period shown in the quote, through our accredited registrar partner. The registrant you name is the legal holder of the domain.
Prices and payment
Prices are in euros, shown before VAT. VAT is added at payment where it applies. The price shown is the price charged. The renewal price is shown before you pay and follows our registrar's cost. Payment is taken by card through Stripe before the domain is registered.
Right of withdrawal
A consumer has 14 days to withdraw from a distance sale. That right does not apply to a service fully performed before the end of those 14 days, at the consumer's express request and with their acknowledgement that the right is then lost (Code de la consommation, article L221-28). A registration is performed within minutes. So before payment you tick this statement: "I ask for the registration to start at once, and I accept that I lose my 14-day right of withdrawal once the registrar has processed it." We keep the time you ticked it with the order.
No refunds
All sales are final. A domain registration cannot be cancelled or refunded once the registrar has processed it. If the registration fails on the registrar side, the payment is refunded in full.
Renewal
Your card is saved at the first payment so the domain can renew. You get a notice before each renewal and can turn renewal off at any time. If renewal is off or the payment fails, the domain expires.
Expiry
After expiry, the registry's own grace and redemption periods apply, as shown on each order. Some extensions can be renewed at the normal price for a few weeks after expiry; some can only be restored for a fee; after that the domain is deleted and anyone can register it.
Abuse
To report a domain used for spam, phishing, malware or fraud, write to abuse@alphaoscar.fr with the domain name and what you saw. We forward reports to the registrar and act on them.
Registrant verification
For most extensions the registry sends the registrant a link to confirm the email address. If it is not confirmed within 14 days, the domain is suspended until it is.
